Consecration Ceremony: Religious event at the Maravijaya Buddha Image

Offering of radiant paint to full circumference of the Maravijaya Buddha Image in Nay Pyi Taw Deckhinathiri Township was completed. A ceremony to mark the completion of the radiant paint offering was held on Wednesday, in conjunction with the consecration ceremony of the pagoda. Sayadaws and members of the Sangha led by the Patron Sayadaw of Thirimingala Wegyi Pariyatti Sarthintaik graced the event, and performed the consecration rituals. After the ceremony, offertories were donated to the Sayadaws and members of the Sangha, followed by donation of alms, fruits, flowers, water, light and golden lotus robe to the Buddha Image.
