A workshop on resource development and reducing illegal activities was held at Dawei City Hall on Tuesday to support the long-term development of Tanintharyi Region, promote the sustainable management of natural resources and the environment and improve the socio-economic well-being of local communities. Chief Minister U Zaw Naing Oo attended the event and made the opening remark. The Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation then outlined the objectives of the workshop.
