Vietnam's largest island, Phu Quoc, welcomed over 5.7 million visitors in the first half of the year, generating more than $1.2 billion in tourism revenue. The island generated more than $1.2 billion (VND20 trillion) in tourism revenue during this period, underscoring its ambition to become a leading global destination. International arrivals exceeded 1.3 million, marking a 50.3% year-on-year rise and reaching 65.7% of the annual target.
