Cambodia-Russia Conclude Public Administration Digitalization Training Successfully

On the afternoon of July 17, 2026, a closing ceremony was successfully held at the Ministry of Interior for the training program on "Digitalization of Public Administration Systems." This training, which lasted for 6 weeks, incorporated both online and in-person sessions, yielding commendable results. According to the Association of Former Students from the Soviet Union and Russia, this advanced training is a fruit of close cooperation between the National School of Administration (NASLA) under the Ministry of Interior and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA). With the support of the Russian Embassy in Cambodia, the Association of Former Students from the Soviet Union and Russia played a pivotal role in initiating, coordinating, and facilitating relations between relevant institutions of both countries. Under the leadership of Dr. Nhil Ratha, President of the Association, the organization actively promoted this cooperation to become a reality and achieve success. Mr. Felix Gadzaov, the Russian representative, highly praised the training outcomes and expressed his profound gratitude to all involved parties, especially the Association of Former Students from the Soviet Union and Russia, for their active role in coordinating and facilitating the collaboration between the Cambodian and Russian sides, ensuring the smooth execution of the entire program and the attainment of its set goals. Mr. Igor Karavaev, Chargé d'Affaires of the Russian Embassy in Cambodia, and Mr. Kol Virak Reach, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Interior, similarly highlighted the importance of cooperation between Cambodia and the Russian Federation in strengthening the capacity of civil servants, exchanging knowledge and experience, and promoting digitalization in public administration for greater efficiency and modernity in line with global trends. The Association of Former Students from the Soviet Union and Russia stated: "The success of this training not only demonstrates the strong cooperation between NASLA and RANEPA in human resource development and capacity building in the public administration sector but also reflects the significant role of the Association of Former Students from the Soviet Union and Russia as a bridge between the two countries." Under the leadership of Dr. Nhil Ratha, the Association affirmed its commitment to continue its mission of strengthening friendly ties and enhancing cooperation in education, human resource development, and knowledge exchange between Cambodia and the Russian Federation, making it deeper and more effective in line with the direction of digital transformation and sustainable development.
