Pertamina Boosts 3kg LPG Supply by Over 60,000 Cylinders in Makassar

State-owned energy company Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sulawesi has increased the supply of 3kg LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) cylinders in Makassar City by more than 60,000 throughout mid-September. This initiative is aimed at responding to community needs and maintaining supply at the base level. Distribution saw an increase of 50 percent above the daily average from September 10-12, with a similar amount added on September 13. Subsequently, the supply was raised to 100 percent above the average daily distribution from September 14-17. Okky Aditya Wibowo, Deputy Area Manager of Communication, Relations & CSR for Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sulawesi, stated that the additional supply was adjusted based on the development of needs in the field. "We continue to strengthen the distribution of 3kg LPG in Makassar City. This addition is done gradually, starting from 50 percent on September 10-13, then we increase it to 100 percent above the daily average in the period of September 14-17," he was quoted as saying by Antara. Pertamina is coordinating with agents and bases to ensure that additional supplies continue through official distribution channels. Okky emphasized that distribution is being monitored to ensure the availability of 3kg LPG in the community is maintained. "We continue to monitor the conditions of distribution with agents and bases. We hope that this additional supply can strengthen the availability of 3kg LPG at the community level," he added. Pertamina urges the public to purchase 3kg LPG according to their needs and through official bases, as this product is a subsidized commodity intended for eligible groups. Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sulawesi affirmed that distribution will continue to be adjusted to the needs in Makassar.
