Phu My Hung, EQuest Partner for $40 Million Education Complex in Bac Ninh
Phu My Hung has partnered with EQuest to develop a K-12 education complex worth approximately $40 million in Hong Hac City, Bac Ninh. The facility, slated to open in September 2028, will integrate the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training's curriculum with the Cambridge curriculum.
Phu My Hung, a leading real estate developer, has signed a strategic partnership with EQuest, an education technology firm, to build an education complex worth approximately $40 million within its Hong Hac City project in Bac Ninh Province. The facility is slated to offer K-12 education, from kindergarten to high school, and is expected to accommodate about 2,500 students upon completion. The education complex will integrate the curriculum set by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training with the Cambridge International Program. Additionally, it will incorporate education in fields such as STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), AI (Artificial Intelligence), Robotics, arts, and life skills, aiming for the comprehensive development of students' capabilities. The design will be handled by Gensler Architecture Design Firm, a renowned global architecture and design firm. Gary Tseng, General Director of Phu My Hung, stated that this partnership marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration built on a shared vision: to provide high-quality education and equip future generations with a solid foundation to excel in an increasingly interconnected world. Truong Hoang Nam, Finance Director of EQuest, added that the cooperation with Phu My Hung at Hong Hac City continues their established comprehensive strategic relationship in South Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) and signifies an expansion northward of the model combining Phu My Hung's urban development expertise with EQuest's educational operational capabilities. He emphasized that education is viewed not merely as an amenity for urban development but as a core social infrastructure that enhances the project's appeal and builds long-term value. The education complex will span over 22,000 square meters and be implemented in two phases. The first phase includes a three-story kindergarten and a five-story school for primary to high school levels on nearly 11,000 square meters, with operations and initial student enrollment targeted for September 2028. Alongside educational infrastructure development, Phu My Hung is also introducing a second model house in the Hong Hac City project, designed in a Japanese Zen style in collaboration with Nomura Real Estate Vietnam. This initiative aims to offer diverse lifestyle choices to customers and includes ready-to-move-in interior finishing packages, particularly targeting foreign experts. Hong Hac City aims to develop into an integrated urban model, complete with educational, commercial, healthcare, cultural, entertainment, and green spaces for its residents. Source: VnExpress
