Senior Cambodian Official Prays for National Prosperity and Tourism Boost in Northern Border Area

Senior Cambodian Advisor (Royal Advisor) Men Sam On conducted a prayer ceremony for national prosperity and well-being on Friday afternoon, September 4, 2026, at the Military Bridge (or Ton Thop Bridge) located in Chong Kal Village, Chong Kal District, Oudor Meanchey Province. During the ceremony, Senior Advisor Men Sam On prayed to the sacred beings of the world, the virtues of the Triple Gem (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha), the guardian deities of the celestial umbrella, the deities protecting the universe, and the guardian deities of the Year of the Horse (Miamy) to bestow happiness, prosperity, and all forms of well-being upon herself, high-ranking officials, business people, and all citizens across the country. She also prayed for the nation to be free from epidemics, calamities, and various natural disasters, and for an increase in tourists visiting Cambodia. In particular, prayers were offered for the good health and success in their mission of defending territorial integrity for all types of armed forces stationed on the front lines along the border.
