Cambodia's Trade Volume Reaches Nearly $51 Billion in First 8 Months

The total trade volume between Cambodia and countries around the world reached nearly $50.68 billion in the first eight months of 2026, a 20% increase, according to the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia. During the period from January to August, Cambodia's total exports amounted to $24.16 billion, an increase of 19.7%. Concurrently, total imports were valued at $26.52 billion, marking a 20.7% rise. Cambodia's major trading partners include China, the United States, Vietnam, Japan, and Thailand. Key Cambodian export products consist of garments, footwear, travel goods, bicycles, dry rubber, rice, bananas, cashew nuts, mangoes, and durian. Imports, on the other hand, include raw materials for garments, footwear, and travel goods, as well as fuel, construction materials, automobiles, motorcycles, electronic products, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics.
