Cambodia Prioritizes Water Resources for National Development, Boosting Agricultural Productivity and Poverty Reduction

The Cambodian government has designated the water resources sector as a priority area, crucial for national economic growth and improving citizens' livelihoods. With 2,354 irrigation systems operational nationwide, the sector can supply water to approximately 2 million hectares of agricultural land, aiming to reduce poverty and enhance food security.
