Poipet Governor Encourages Principals to Use 'Loving Language' with Staff

On the afternoon of August 4, 2026, H.E. Khoy Rida, Governor of Poipet Province, met with approximately 70 teachers and school administrators from Hun Sen Phnum Kravanh High School and Samdech Ov Samdech Mae Phnum Kravanh Secondary School. The meeting took place at the Office of Education, Youth, and Sport in Phnum Kravanh District. The purpose of this consultation was to inquire about the well-being of educators, understand the challenges facing the local education sector, and to strengthen solidarity, nationalistic spirit, and close cooperation among teachers, school administrators, and all levels of authorities. The ultimate goal is to jointly promote and further develop the local education sector with greater efficiency. The ceremony was attended by H.E. Nguon Paoseng, Deputy Governor of the province, the Secretary-General of the Provincial Hall, leaders of relevant ministries and departments, and several local authorities. His Excellency reminded the school principals of their role, stating that they should utilize good time management and speak with pleasant, meaningful, and gentle language. He emphasized that leaders and staff have worked together for many years, and their valuable experiences should be shared to foster positive communication with their subordinates. His Excellency further stressed that school principals are like warm "guardians" to all teachers. Therefore, teachers and school leaders must have affection, understanding, and cooperate closely with each other. Additionally, H.E. Khoy Rida pointed out that both the education and health sectors are now operating under a deconcentrated system at the sub-national level. This requires all relevant parties to pay close attention and take initiative in developing their respective localities with high responsibility. Following the wise mediation by the provincial leadership, both school principals and teachers opened their hearts, showed understanding, and reached a consensus to reunite.
