National Unity Government -The People's Defence Force (PDF) in Myeik, Tanintharyi Region, announced the arrest of a 17-year-old youth caught using WY stimulant pills, along with 25 pills. -Ambassador Kyaw Moe Tun, Myanmar's Permanent Representative to the UN, stated that the Steering Committee for the Emergence of the Federal Democratic Union (SCEF) is working towards ending the military dictatorship and building a federal democratic union. -It is reported that the 15th (2026) meeting between the Central Committee for the Implementation of Interim Autonomous Administration of the National Unity Government (NUG) and the People's Administration Teams of the Magway Federal Unit was held on July 29 at 1 PM. -The 2nd Battalion of the Thayet District announced yesterday that People's Defence Force (PDF) members attacked the Pu Lo Township Police Station of the terrorist military in Aung Lan Township, Magway Region, around 3:30 PM on July 28. -The interim president of the NUG, Duwa Lashi La, stated that the first draft of the Common Political Agreement (CPA), jointly drafted over nearly two and a half years by 26 organizations including the NUG, NUCC, Committee Representing the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH), and the federal units of Sagaing, Magway, and Mandalay, has been approved and released, and efforts will continue to create a common political agreement that all revolutionary forces can participate in. Revolutionary Activities -A new report released today (July 30) by the Shan Women's Action Network (SWAN) indicates that 172 cases of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) have been recorded in Shan State, but systemic barriers and failures are being encountered in achieving justice. -According to data released by the We Love Myaing group, the military junta conducted over 140 airstrikes in Myaing Township, Magway Region, during the six-day period from July 24 to the afternoon of July 29. -The Chin Refugee Alliance (ACR) urged Myanmar nationals to live cautiously, respecting laws and regulations, due to the tightening of policies towards refugees by the Malaysian government. -The ASEAN Parliamentarians for Human Rights (APHR) released a statement today regarding the remarks made by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim yesterday, stating that 5,000 Rohingya refugees would be repatriated after negotiations with the coup government, warning that those repatriated would face human rights violations and grave dangers. -The Network of Political Prisoners of Myanmar (PPNM) announced that female political prisoners in Diev Prison, Bago Region, are suffering from torture and abuse by the terrorist military regime. -The Brave Warriors for Myanmar (BWM) announced that their forces attacked the terrorist military's helicopter and gyrocopter parking area at Nyaung U Airport in Mandalay Region with 107mm rockets around 10:30 PM on July 28. -Myanmar's military council has agreed to accept 5,000 Rohingya refugees residing in Malaysia as the first batch, according to Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. Ethnic Armed Organizations -The Rakhine Ethnic Congress (ULA) stated during a meeting with Muslim religious leaders that cooperation through the education sector is necessary to improve social harmony and mutual relations between Rakhine and Muslim communities in Rakhine State. -The Democratic Karen Buddhist Army (DKBA) issued a warning and prohibition order on July 29, instructing its members not to be involved in the ongoing military conflicts in the Phalu region, southern Myawaddy, Kayin State.
