The two sides expressed satisfactions at positive developments in the bilateral relations across all areas since the establishment of their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. They vowed to work closely to effectively implement high-level agreements, maintain all-level delegation exchanges, promote defense and security cooperation, as well as foster balanced and sustainable cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, and investment, striving to raise bilateral trade turnover to US$25 billion at an early date. The two leaders pledged to strengthen infrastructure and logistics connectivity, business partnership, and local-to-local cooperation; expand collaboration in tourism, education and training, science and technology, innovation, and people-to-people exchanges; and join hands in preserving and promoting cultural values associated with Viet Nam-Thailand friendship. The two legislators underlined the need to effectively carry out the cooperation agreements between the two legislative bodies, enhance friendship between parliamentary groups, young parliamentarians' groups, women's parliamentary groups, and advisory bodies in such areas as lawmaking, supreme oversight, digital transformation, green growth, and climate change response. The two sides pledged to promote the role of the two legislative bodies in completing the legal framework, overseeing the implementation of high-level agreements and the action program for the implementation of the Viet Nam-Thailand Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for 2026-2031, and accelerating the effective implementation of the "Three Connections" Strategy. Both sides underscored the significance of bolstering cooperation within ASEAN, AIPA, the IPU, and other multilateral parliamentary forums; upholding ASEAN centrality; and promoting cooperation via Mekong subregional mechanisms./.
