The Norway-based Myanmar (CRPH) Support Group has led a joint statement titled "Voices for Myanmar Freedom" from Myanmar organizations and democratic partner groups from 11 countries, which has been submitted to human rights bodies of the United Nations (UN) and the European Union (EU), it has been learned. The statement was approved at a meeting of Myanmar organizations and partner groups in Europe held in Norway on June 20, and was directly submitted to the UN Special Representative on the human rights situation in Myanmar, the European Parliament's Subcommittee on Human Rights (DROI), and the Delegation for relations with the countries of Southeast Asia (DASE), according to the statement. It is understood that the statement was jointly signed by 91 individual supporters and 90 organizations.
