National Artist Chalermchai Donates 1.18M Baht to Chiang Rai Hospital

Renowned Thai National Artist Chalermchai Kositpipat has made a significant contribution to public health by donating exactly 1,185,200 baht to Chiang Rai Prachanukroh Hospital. The funds, raised entirely from the successful sales of his highly sought-after art prints, are earmarked for the purchase of essential medical equipment to enhance local healthcare services. The official handover ceremony took place on September 14 at 11:00 AM at the iconic Wat Rong Khun (White Temple). Hospital Director Dr. Somsak Uthaipiboon, along with his executive team, accepted the generous donation from Mr. Sakda Tharanisorn, who represented the artist. Master Chalermchai specifically requested that the income from his art sales be directed to the hospital’s official donation fund. His intention is to ensure that medical professionals are equipped with the proper tools to effectively treat local patients.
