Thai National Assembly President to Visit Vietnam

Sophon Zaram, President of the National Assembly and Speaker of the House of Representatives of Thailand, is scheduled to pay an official visit to Vietnam from August 5 to 7, at the invitation of Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man. This visit presents an opportunity to further deepen parliamentary exchanges and cooperation between Vietnam and Thailand, two nations that have cultivated strong relations over many years. As key members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Vietnam and Thailand contribute to the economic development and stability of the region. Their bilateral relations span various sectors including economy, trade, and culture, with people-to-people exchanges becoming particularly vibrant in recent years. The Thai Ambassador to Vietnam has also emphasized that ties between their citizens form a robust foundation for bilateral relations.
