Cambodia to Cultivate Digital Talent in Quantum Computing with 25 Scholarships for Top Students

The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (MPTC) announced on August 6, 2026, the provision of 25 'Techo Digital Talent Scholarships' for the 2026-2027 academic year, aimed at cultivating specialists in the field of Quantum Computing. According to the announcement, eligible candidates must be high school graduates from the 2026 examinations who achieved an overall grade of 'A' and an 'A' in Mathematics and Physics. Students excelling in mathematics and physics at the national level are particularly encouraged to apply. The scholarship offers numerous benefits, including a laptop, 100% tuition coverage until the completion of the bachelor's degree, opportunities for good jobs with high salaries in ministries, institutions, or technology companies both domestically and internationally, and support from the MPTC to facilitate successful studies over four years. Upon graduation, students may pursue postgraduate studies domestically or abroad, as arranged by the MPTC. Candidates must register directly at the American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP), located at Building No. 278H, Street 208R, Kraol Kor Village, Kilometer 6 Sangkat, Russey Keo District, Phnom Penh. Registration is open from the date of the announcement until September 18, 2026. Applicants will undergo competitive examinations in Mathematics, Physics, and English (if no English proficiency results are available).
