China's Ambassador Pledges Continued Aid to Displaced People in Preah Vihear
Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia, Wang Wenbin, visited displaced people in Preah Vihear province, pledging continued Chinese support until their return home. This marks his second visit since September last year, with an additional $100,000 in aid provided.
Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia, Wang Wenbin, has emphasized that China's assistance to displaced people in Preah Vihear province will continue until they can return to their homes. Ambassador Wang stated, "This is the second time I have visited Preah Vihear province to see our displaced citizens. Last September 2025, I, representing the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia, visited and provided a donation of $100,000 to the Preah Vihear Provincial Administration." The Ambassador further added, "After nearly a year has passed, I have returned to Preah Vihear province today with gifts of goodwill to clearly demonstrate that the Chinese side always stands with and shares the hardships of our displaced citizens. We will continue to provide all possible support to help improve and elevate the living standards of our brothers and sisters. As long as our citizens have not yet returned to their homes, China's assistance will continue!" This aid underscores China's ongoing commitment to supporting displaced populations within Cambodia.
