Vietnamese Rescue Team Achieves 'Impossible' Mission in Venezuela

Vietnam's Ministry of Public Security rescue team has demonstrated exceptional capabilities by successfully completing a rescue mission in Venezuela that international teams had deemed "impossible." On July 3rd, the Vietnamese rescue team successfully recovered the body of one victim from an 8-story collapsed apartment building. This location had previously been assessed by international rescue forces as too dangerous for recovery operations, but the Vietnamese team persevered to fulfill the wishes of the victim's family. In total, the Vietnamese team recovered 15 bodies on this day, bringing the cumulative total of recovered victims to 45. This challenging feat was accomplished through the team's professional methods, thorough analysis, and cautious execution. Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Can from the Fire Prevention and Rescue University of the People's Public Security addressed the situation, stating, "Although the mission is extremely difficult, we have faith in the professional expertise of the Ministry of Public Security's rescue team and our commitment to fulfilling our promise to the people to bring all victims back to their families." The team continues to work at the site, but operations have been intermittently halted due to two instances of ground tremors. Despite these challenges, they remain determined in their search for any remaining trapped individuals. During breaks from rescue efforts, Colonel Pham Hung Duong, head of the Vietnamese delegation, visited and comforted families living in temporary shelters near the disaster site, distributing essential supplies. These acts of solidarity provided significant moral support to the affected Venezuelan population. Furthermore, when a local volunteer fell ill from inhaling toxic fumes, Vietnamese soldiers provided immediate first aid and medical assistance, ensuring the volunteer's stable recovery. These actions highlight the bravery and compassion of Vietnamese police officers.
