Indonesia's Defense Minister Emphasizes Enhanced Military Readiness

Indonesian Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto reiterated the importance of strengthening the military's readiness to ensure national security. The minister pointed out that modern conflicts are constantly evolving in nature, and the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) must maintain and enhance its capabilities to respond swiftly and effectively to any threat. Minister Prabowo stated that strengthening military readiness requires a comprehensive approach, not just modernization of equipment, but also improving the quality of training, maintaining soldier morale, and enhancing intelligence gathering and analysis capabilities. He specifically recognized that improving response capabilities to non-traditional threats such as cyberattacks and information warfare is an urgent task. He also added that maintaining rapid deployment capabilities in each region is essential, considering Indonesia's vast territory and diverse geographical conditions.
