Vietnamese Coffee Eyes Mozambique Market for Export Expansion

The Vietnamese Embassy in Mozambique showcased specialty processed and Halal-certified coffee products at the Maputo International Trade Fair 2026. This initiative aims to expand opportunities for Vietnamese coffee to reach potential importers, distributors, and partners in Mozambique and the wider region, thereby promoting economic and trade connections between Vietnam and Mozambique. The trade fair also served to enhance Vietnam's external information dissemination and promote the country and its people. Furthermore, Vietnam and Mozambique have signed an agreement on cooperation in higher education, which is expected to contribute to the deepening of practical and effective cooperative relations between the two nations. As a major coffee exporting country, Vietnam seeks to expand its global market presence, and venturing into African markets is part of its strategy to capture new growth opportunities.
