The Thanh Hóa Department of Health has reported the incident to the Ministry of Health. According to reports, the incident involved a patient's family who contacted an external provider to arrange a private vehicle and caregiver for transporting the patient home. Hospital records indicate that the vehicle and caregiver were not hospital staff but were directly arranged by the family. This case further exacerbates public distrust in the quality and pricing of healthcare services in Vietnam. Particularly in rural areas, where medical infrastructure can be less developed than in urban centers, patients and their families often struggle to secure transportation.
