Cambodian Senate Holds Knowledge Sharing Session on Policy Analysis and Research Methods Post-China Visit

The General Secretariat of the Senate organized a knowledge-sharing session on "Policy Analysis and Research Methods for Cambodia" for over 80 officials on July 30, 2026. The event aimed to share knowledge and experiences gained from participating in training and study tours in the People's Republic of China, and to strengthen policy analysis and scientific research methods. This initiative supports the mission of the Senate leadership and members under the principle of "Parliamentary system serves the people." Deputy Director of the Cabinet of the First Vice-President of the Senate, H.E. Sok Panyha, highlighted the importance of sharing knowledge and experiences obtained from China. He expressed strong confidence that the presentations by colleagues would provide new information, knowledge, and perspectives applicable to the practical work of the institution. The session included presentations on several key topics: "China's National Development and Modernization": This presentation summarized eight key lessons on China's development and modernization, offering insights that can be used as input for study, consideration, and reform of public institutions in Cambodia. "Study Tour to Economic Zones and Public Service Centers in Beijing and Kunming": This covered practical experiences related to public services, digitalization, economic development, environmental conservation, and rural development. "Achieved Outcomes and Contributions to Strengthening Cambodia-China Ironclad Friendship": This provided input on strengthening Cambodia-China cooperation and adapting foreign experiences to the national context, guided by the leadership philosophy of Samdech Techo: "Make clothes that fit the body, make shoes that fit the feet."
