Construction Worker Severely Injured in Motorcycle Collision on Hun Sen Blvd in Cambodia

A construction worker sustained severe injuries after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on the morning of July 31st. The accident occurred around 7:30 AM on Hun Sen Boulevard (Ring Road 3) in Kambol district. The injured worker, identified as Heng Bora, 29, was reportedly traveling from his residence in Sen Sok district to a construction site in Kambol district. According to witnesses, Bora was riding a black Honda Dream 125cc motorcycle (license plate Kampot 1AE-3057) heading south on Hun Sen Boulevard. Near the accident site, his motorcycle collided with a red Asia Towner SDX vehicle (license plate Phnom Penh 2C-5105) that was attempting to cross Hun Sen Boulevard from the Ta Hau canal road. Witnesses stated that Bora applied the brakes but could not stop in time, and his motorcycle crashed violently into the left door of the vehicle. He fell and was thrown onto the road, suffering serious injuries. The vehicle sustained significant damage to its left door, and the motorcycle was damaged in the front. Rescue team 711 arrived at the scene and transported Bora to Preah Sokhna Hospital for emergency treatment. Following the incident, police from the Ta Hau canal police station and the Kambol district traffic police arrived to measure the scene.
