According to the Ayeyarwady Region Government, activities are being carried out based in Shan village to support the flood-affected people in the villages that have been inundated on both sides of the Ayetphyu road in Leymyinar Township. It is said that the villages affected by the floodwaters along the road are Ayetphyu village group, Kainnyita village group, Yenok village group, and Rum village group. It is said that to provide support to these villages, activities are being carried out based in Shan village to receive and collect goods, and to transport and donate them to flood-affected relief camps. In addition, it is learned that rice, dried noodles, drinking water, medicines, and fuel have been provided in coordination with social welfare organizations to relocate people suffering from the flood disaster to safe places. It is also learned that the support teams, led by U Saw Htun Win, Chairman of the Kyonpyaw District Administration and Governance Committee, under the guidance of the Chief Minister of the Ayeyarwady Region Government, along with staff from the District General Administration Department, the township administrator and staff from Nga Hsaing Chaung town in Ye Kyi Township, members of the fire brigade, and flood relief and support organizations, are transporting and donating the support items.
