Professor Mam Bunheng, a senior official of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) and a member of its Central Committee, urged party members and activists to strengthen their unity and cooperation to serve the people with warmth and high confidence. This call was made during a meeting of the party's working group for the Sen Sok district in Phnom Penh. The remarks were delivered on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at the party office in Phnom Penh Thmei commune, during a monthly meeting to review living conditions for September and set directions for October. Professor Mam Bunheng conveyed greetings and messages from His Excellency Prime Minister Hun Manet and his wife, as well as from His Excellency former Prime Minister Hun Sen and his wife. He also expressed high praise and appreciation for the leadership, members, and activists who have dedicated their physical strength, time, and personal resources to contribute to the development and resolution of various issues for the citizens. Furthermore, Professor Mam Bunheng urged all working groups to continue their activities and to go down to the grassroots level to grasp the situation, challenges, opinions, and requests of the people in their respective areas to contribute to timely solutions. He specifically highlighted the importance of preventing any illegal online activities from occurring within villages and communes. He also reminded all working groups to maintain strong internal solidarity to achieve brilliant victory in the upcoming elections for commune and district councils, and to continue serving the people with enthusiasm. This directive underscores the CPP's focus on strengthening its grassroots organization and maintaining close ties with the populace, while also addressing contemporary challenges such as illegal online activities.
