Ninh Binh Hosts Dialogue to Boost Private Sector Economy

On July 23, a significant dialogue session focused on fostering the development of the private sector was held in Ninh Binh province, Vietnam. Titled 'Vietnam Private Sector Economy: Institutional Breakthrough - Public-Private Synergy' (VPSF 2026), the event was co-organized by the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee, and the Ninh Binh Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association. The forum aimed to address regional challenges and inject new momentum into the private economy, with a particular focus on resolving bottlenecks in Ninh Binh and creating new driving forces for the local business community. Ninh Binh province emphasized its commitment to being a 'creative government' that collaborates with businesses and supports their growth. Specifically, the province is synchronously developing industrial parks and concentrated industrial zones. Currently, industrial parks in Ninh Binh employ over 30,800 workers, playing a crucial role in the regional economy. The private sector is expected to be the driving force behind a 'breakthrough' for the entire Vietnamese economy. This dialogue is seen as part of the Vietnamese government's policy to remove institutional barriers faced by private enterprises and strengthen cooperation with the public sector, aiming for further leaps in the private economy. This occurs against the backdrop of the increasing importance of the private sector as a driver of economic growth within Vietnam's one-party system.
