Placement Test Successful Candidates List Announced in Gangaw Township

It is reported that a list of successful candidates for the Placement Test has been announced in Gangaw Township, Magway Region. In order to enable children of school age who have been outside the school system for various reasons since the 2021-2022 academic year to enroll in classes designated according to their age, examinations were conducted through the Placement Test (Special Program) starting from June 15, 2026, for the 2026-2027 academic year. The list of successful candidates among those who took the exams began to be announced on July 1 in Gangaw Township, Magway Region. The announcements were made in front of the Township Education Officer's Office and at the examination center of Basic Education High School (Gangaw), and students who had taken the exams came to view them. In Gangaw Township, for the 2026-2027 academic year Placement Test (Special Program), examinations were held at the Basic Education High School (Gangaw) examination center. Among the 34 candidates registered for Grade-1, 27 took the exam and 11 passed. Among the 108 candidates registered for Grade-2, 73 took the exam and 23 passed. Among the 75 candidates registered for Grade-3, 64 took the exam and 36 passed. Among the 122 candidates registered for Grade-4, 110 took the exam and 18 passed. Among the 134 candidates registered for Grade-5, 125 took the exam and 41 passed. Among the 138 candidates registered for Grade-6, 122 took the exam and 1 passed. Among the 140 candidates registered for Grade-7, 128 took the exam and 2 passed. Among the 181 candidates registered for Grade-8, 163 took the exam and 4 passed. Out of a total of 932 registered candidates from Grade-1 to Grade-8, 812 took the exam, and 136 were successful, resulting in a pass rate of 16.75%.
