Chinese Navy warships arrive in Yangon

Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy warships arrived at Yangon's Thilawa Port on the afternoon of September 24 for a goodwill visit. The warships, including the destroyer Tang Shan, the frigate Da Qing, and the supply ship Tai Hu, belonging to the 48th PLA Navy Escort Task Group, arrived at Thilawa Port and were welcomed by high-ranking officials, officers, and soldiers of the Navy, as well as officials from the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Myanmar and its military attaché office. The fleet is led by Senior Captain Xu Fang, accompanied by officers and soldiers of the 48th PLA Navy Escort Task Group. During the visit, they are scheduled to visit and tour famous places in Yangon, and friendly sports competitions between the two countries will be held, it is reported.
