Young Dao ethnic people in the Mau Son mountain area of the northern province of Lang Son are successfully expanding the market for their local specialties nationwide by mastering digital technology and online marketing. Their green economic model is powerfully driving innovation and wealth creation in the region. This initiative goes beyond mere sales of specialties, emphasizing sustainable production methods and environmentally conscious business models. The Dao youth are actively utilizing social media and e-commerce platforms to communicate the stories and production backgrounds of their products to consumers. This has enabled them to enhance the value of local resources and open up new markets. Amidst the challenge of urban-rural disparities accompanying Vietnam's economic growth, such progressive initiatives by local ethnic minority communities are drawing attention as nationwide model cases.
