Cambodia's PM Manet Attends Graduation, Emphasizing Human Capital for National Development

Prime Minister of Cambodia, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, attended and presided over the graduation ceremony of the University of South-East Asia, presenting diplomas to the graduating students. The Prime Minister noted that educational and vocational training institutions, both public and private, are rapidly developing, with a remarkable improvement in the quality of education and training. This is reflected in the increasing number of Cambodian students participating in and winning awards in regional and global competitions in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The Royal Government of Cambodia has always considered "people" as an essential and indispensable resource for national socio-economic development. Efforts are being made to equip Cambodian citizens, especially youth and children, with broad knowledge, genuine skills, morality, discipline, and robust physical and mental health. This is aimed at better and more timely responses to the demands of national development, the labor market, and the defense of the homeland. In this regard, the 7th mandate government continues to accelerate the reform of the education and vocational training sectors in Cambodia to be more effective, efficient, and equitable. This involves studying and implementing policies, strategies, and comprehensive reform programs to fully harness the potential of Cambodia's "demographic dividend."
