K Cement and Philanthropists Donate Supplies to Displaced Residents in Banteay Meanchey
K Cement and philanthropists have donated food and essential supplies to residents of seven villages displaced and temporarily residing in Svay Chek district, Banteay Meanchey province. Banteay Meanchey, Cambodia – June 30, 2026 K Cement company and philanthropists have donated a substantial quantity of food and essential supplies to residents of seven villages who are temporarily sheltering in the former soldiers' housing in Ron Cham village, Slakram commune, Svay Chek district, Banteay Meanchey province. These provisions will be distributed by the provincial administration to assist the displaced population. The handover ceremony for these humanitarian aid items took place on the afternoon of June 29, 2026, presided over by Mr. Khlok Nuy, the provincial deputy governor, representing H.E. Um Ratry, the provincial governor. The event was attended by representatives from K Cement, philanthropists, numerous government officials, and relevant local authorities. Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Khlok Nuy, on behalf of the provincial administration, expressed profound gratitude to K Cement and all philanthropists for their benevolent gesture and contribution towards alleviating the immediate hardships faced by the displaced residents. The deputy governor highlighted that this humanitarian act and valuable sharing not only eases the living burden of the temporarily residing citizens but also clearly demonstrates the spirit of solidarity, social conscience, and the culture of sharing – "Khmer helps Khmer" – during difficult times. Furthermore, Mr. Khlok Nuy conveyed the greetings of Governor Um Ratry to all the affected residents. He also instructed local authorities to continue paying close attention to the management and distribution of these donations, ensuring they reach all seven villages of displaced people residing in the former soldiers' housing transparently and in a timely manner.
