Cao Bang Province Urges Citizens to Provide Information on Fallen Soldiers, Reports on Economic and Security Progress

On July 24, Cao Bang Province in northern Vietnam held a press conference to provide information on economic and social development, results in the initial stages of national defense and security, and key tasks for the future. During this conference, the province announced its policy to actively call on citizens to provide information regarding fallen soldiers buried outside official war cemeteries. Cao Bang Province aims for professional and sustainable tourism development and has set a target of achieving economic growth of 10% or more since the beginning of the year, continuing its efforts to reach this goal. The province also approved the report on inspection results from the Politburo and Secretariat to the Standing Committee of the Cao Provincial Party Committee (second round). The collection of information on fallen soldiers is being carried out in the context of honoring the contributions of soldiers who sacrificed for the nation under Vietnam's one-party system and showing consideration for their families. Alongside economic growth, maintaining and strengthening national defense and security is positioned as an important task for the province. Especially in border areas with China, ensuring security is fundamental to economic development, making its importance high.
