Hanoi Delegation Pays Tribute to Fallen Heroes in Quang Tri
A delegation from Hanoi visited Quang Tri province to offer incense to fallen heroes ahead of the War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27). The delegation also provided support for housing construction and repair for revolutionary contributors and martyrs' relatives, demonstrating respect and care for those who served the nation.
On July 12, a delegation from Hanoi, led by Mr. Tran Duc Thang, Member of the Politburo and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, visited Quang Tri province to pay tribute to fallen heroes. This activity is part of a series of commemorative events leading up to Vietnam's War Invalids and Martyrs' Day on July 27. The delegation offered incense with gratitude and respect to the many heroes resting in Quang Tri province. Furthermore, financial support for the construction and repair of homes was presented to revolutionary contributors and the families of martyrs, signifying concrete assistance to those who served the nation. The Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee has issued conclusions on organizing various activities towards the 80th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, and the Hanoi delegation's visit is understood to be in line with these directives. The Secretariat has called for concentrated resources on key tasks related to this commemorative day, and a special committee has been established to promote related activities. In Vietnam, preserving the memory of war and honoring those who contributed to national construction are crucial elements for national unity.
