CP Vietnam and Bach Mai Hospital Partner for Worker and Community Health

On September 15, CP Vietnam (Công ty cổ phần Chăn nuôi C.P. Việt Nam) and Bach Mai Hospital (Bệnh viện Bạch Mai) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for long-term cooperation in healthcare and social fields. This partnership focuses on improving the health of workers and contributing to the community, including support for patients facing difficulties. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Soopakij Chearavanont, Chairman of the CP Group, and Ms. Đỗ Thị Thu Thảo, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee, among other dignitaries. Under the MOU, CP Vietnam and Bach Mai Hospital will jointly organize regular health check-ups, specialized consultations, screening, counseling, and suitable healthcare programs for CP Vietnam's staff and individuals referred by the company. The collaboration will also extend to community members through health check-ups, counseling, screening, and health education programs, with a particular focus on nutrition, prevention of non-communicable diseases, and mental health. Furthermore, initiatives to promote voluntary blood donation and awareness about organ and tissue donation will be advanced. Depending on specific programs, CP Vietnam may provide support in the form of meals, essential goods, necessary expenses, and other appropriate forms of assistance, contributing to the improvement of care conditions, living situations, and providing emotional support for patients and their families. Associate Professor, Dr. Vũ Văn Giáp, Deputy Director of Bach Mai Hospital, expressed gratitude for CP Vietnam's contributions to community activities, especially its efforts in promoting blood donation. He emphasized that the MOU marks a new stage in the relationship between the two entities, moving towards long-term cooperation rather than isolated activities. He expressed confidence that the partnership will generate many meaningful programs that positively contribute to the cause of protecting, caring for, and improving the health of the people. During his visit to Bach Mai Hospital, Mr. Soopakij Chearavanont and the CP Group's leadership team visited the fixed blood donation point, learning about the operations of receiving and caring for blood donors and interacting with participants. CP Vietnam has supported Bach Mai Hospital in renovating and upgrading this blood donation facility, which became operational on August 11, 2026. Mr. Pawalit Ua-amornwanit, General Director of CP Vietnam, stated that throughout its 33-year journey in Vietnam, CP has consistently adhered to the philosophy of "Three Benefits towards Sustainability," prioritizing the interests of the people and the community. This principle guides all activities of the CP Group and CP Vietnam. He shared that the MOU reaffirms the long-term commitment to community health, social responsibility, and humanitarian values that both organizations uphold. This initiative is a continuation of CP Vietnam's long-term efforts to fulfill its corporate social responsibility and create sustainable value for the people and the community. For many years, in the health sector, CP Vietnam has collaborated with the National Institute of Hematology & Blood Transfusion in the "Red Journey" campaign, organizing voluntary blood drives that have contributed to collecting over one million units of blood. The company has also participated in the "Young Doctors' Journey following Uncle Ho's teachings, volunteering for community health" since 2015, where CP Vietnam volunteers support medical teams in examination points, contributing to the healthcare of former youth volunteers, policy beneficiary families, and disadvantaged individuals.
