Sriracha Municipality, located in Chonburi province, Thailand, has conducted an emergency drill focused on gas fire incidents. The exercise was organized by the Sriracha Municipality's Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Division with the aim of sharpening officers' skills, improving inter-team coordination, and ensuring a systematic response in the event of a real emergency. The drill was led by Deputy Mayor Prapas Charoensantisuk and Division Head Apichat Maneechot. Officers from the municipality's disaster prevention unit participated in the exercise. Through this simulation, participants reviewed and practiced a series of response procedures, including firefighting, evacuation guidance, and victim rescue, specifically tailored for gas fire scenarios. Such drills are crucial for ensuring a swift and effective response to unforeseen events. Sriracha Municipality prioritizes the safety of its citizens and plans to continue its efforts in maintaining and enhancing its disaster response capabilities through regular training exercises.
