The Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) has searched the house of lawyer Don Ritto in Bandung, a suspect in a money laundering case involving 74 kilograms of gold and Rp543 billion in cash, which also implicates former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, Febrie Adriansyah. Anang Supriatna, Head of the Legal Information Center at Kejagung, stated that the search was conducted by investigators from Team 9 on Tuesday (August 4). The investigators seized several documents during the search that are suspected to be related to Don Ritto's case and his connection with Febrie. Prior to this, Kejagung had also searched Don Ritto's office in South Jakarta on Monday (August 3). Additionally, searches were conducted at the residence of suspect Nurman Herin (NH) in Depok, West Java, and at the offices of four companies in South Jakarta (PT HI, PT PIS, PT KNE, and PT SME) suspected of being involved in Don Ritto's money laundering activities. Kejagung had previously named Febrie Adriansyah, the former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, as a suspect in the money laundering case related to the discovery of 74 kilograms of gold and Rp543 billion in cash at his Sentul residence. Most recently, Kejagung also named private sector individual Nurman Herin (NH) and lawyer Don Ritto (DR) as suspects for their alleged involvement in the money laundering case alongside Febrie. Rudi Margono, Head of Team 9 and Junior Attorney General for Oversight, explained that the alleged money laundering was carried out by Febrie utilizing his position as a prosecutor or structural official during his tenure at the Attorney General's Office.
