"Nâng bước em đến trường" Program Supports Disadvantaged Students in Thai Nguyen

The "Nâng bước em đến trường" (Step Up to School) program was organized in xã Đại Phúc, Thai Nguyen province, supporting students facing difficult circumstances and those who have undergone heart surgery. This initiative was jointly held by Tạp chí điện tử Nhịp sống thị trường (MarketTimes Electronic Magazine) and xã Đại Phúc. A delegation, led by Mr. Nguyễn Thế Hào, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Valuation Association and Editor-in-Chief of MarketTimes Electronic Magazine, along with leaders and reporters from the magazine, visited Tân Thái Kindergarten. They inquired about the teaching and learning conditions and donated a television set for educational purposes. Gifts were also presented to students from disadvantaged backgrounds and those who had recently undergone heart surgery. Representatives from xã Đại Phúc and Tân Thái Kindergarten stated that this support is a timely and practical encouragement for the school, parents, and students facing hardship to strive in their studies and lives. They also noted that this is the first charitable and humanitarian program since the implementation of the two-tier local government model at the school. Xã Đại Phúc has a large population living around Núi Cốc Lake, and the kindergarten, located far from the center, faces many challenges in raising and educating children. The facilities are also described as lacking and poor. The leadership of xã Đại Phúc expressed their hope that, in addition to the attention from the Party committee and government, various organizations and individuals will provide sponsorship and humanitarian aid to alleviate the difficulties in students' lives and studies. On this occasion, leaders, reporters, and staff of MarketTimes Electronic Magazine also participated in a specialized thematic session at the Huỳnh Thúc Kháng Journalism School relic site by Núi Cốc Lake. This site in xã Đại Phúc is noted as the first journalism school in Vietnam, established during the resistance war in the Việt Bắc resistance zone under the direction of President Hồ Chí Minh.
