PNP Admits Discord Use, Says Ops Unaffected by Temporary Ban

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Friday admitted using social media platform Discord but said its operation was not disrupted when the app was earlier banned for 24 hours. During a press briefing on Friday, PNP spokesperson PCol. Allen Rae Co said Discord is one of the various platforms that the police utilize for its operations. He emphasized that despite the temporary prohibition, the police force's operational activities proceeded smoothly.
