Marcos hands over 333 homes to flood-hit families in Valenzuela City

Marcos Jr. on Tuesday led the ceremonial turnover of 333 housing units at Disiplina Village in Arkong Bato, Valenzuela City, for residents relocated from flood-prone areas. The Disiplina Village Arkong Bato project was designed to provide 960 housing units for qualified informal settler families affected by the Supreme Court’s mandamus. President Marcos Jr. expressed his hope that these new homes would aid in the residents' recovery and provide a safer, more stable living environment. The Philippines, particularly its urban centers, frequently experiences severe flooding during the rainy season due to heavy rainfall and typhoons.
