MANILA, Philippines — As the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) celebrates its milestone 50th anniversary, it brings together four of Asia’s most respected business leaders for the 32nd National Retail Conference and Expo (NRCE) on Aug. 6–7, at the SMX Convention Center Manila. Recognized as the country’s premier retail conference, this year’s NRCE features an exceptional lineup of speakers whose leadership has shaped businesses and industries across the region. Opening the conference is V.P. Sharma, founder and Group CEO of PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAP Group), who will share lessons from building Southeast Asia’s largest lifestyle retail company and one of the region’s most successful retail organizations. Joseph Phi, Group CEO of Li & Fung, will discuss how AI, data and supply chain innovation are enabling retailers to build resilience and remain competitive in an increasingly complex business environment. The conference concludes with a rare fireside conversation featuring Teresita Sy-Coson, vice chairperson of SM Investments Corp., and Steven Tan, president of SM Supermalls, moderated by internationally acclaimed broadcast journalist Rico Hizon. The discussion offers attendees a unique opportunity to hear from two of the country’s most influential business leaders as they reflect on leadership, business, and the continuing evolution of Philippine retail. Marking five decades of championing the retail industry, the 32nd NRCE continues PRA’s commitment to convening global thought leaders and local industry pioneers to exchange ideas, inspire innovation, and help shape the future of Philippine retail.
