Vietnam Seeks Deeper Ties with Canada: PM Urges Market Access and Workforce Training

Vietnam regards Canada as an important partner in its foreign policy and welcomed the positive and comprehensive progress in bilateral relations over nearly a decade since the establishment of the Comprehensive Partnership, said Prime Minister Le Minh Hung. Nguyen Dai Trang, a member of the CVS’s executive board, said the organisation's greatest achievement over the past 10 years lies not only in the number of programmes it has organised but also in its success in bringing together Vietnamese associations across Canada, and fostering a shared voice within the community. Prime Minister Le Minh Hung urged Canada to open its market wider to Vietnamese goods, particularly agro-forestry-fishery products, while extending cooperation in training quality workforce in artificial intelligence, quantum technology, and semiconductors. The Vietnam War Veterans Association in Berlin-Brandenburg has run multiple events in recent years to honour war invalids, martyrs and their families, paying tribute to earlier generations while bolstering solidarity within the Vietnamese community in Germany and keeping the nation's cherished traditions alive. This is a key mission within a 500-day national campaign to search for, recover and identify the remains of fallen soldiers, in the lead-up to the 80th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 - 2027). He was apprehended by officers from the Na Loi and My Ly Border Guard Stations while bringing the drugs to Pieng Pen village, My Ly commune, on July 18.
