Takeo Province Reviews August Health Achievements, Plans Future Work
Takeo Province's Department of Health convened a meeting to review health achievements for August and discuss future work plans. Director Phan Van emphasized focusing on accomplishments, challenges, and shortcomings to improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare services.
In Takeo Province, southern Cambodia, the Department of Health convened a meeting on August 3rd to review the achievements of its health activities for August 2026 and to plan future work. The meeting was led by the Provincial Director of Health, Phan Van, with the participation of the director of the provincial referral hospital, heads of various departments, and district health officials. Director Phan Van stated that the purpose of the meeting was to evaluate and analyze the accomplishments, challenges, and shortcomings of the work carried out in August. He emphasized that the discussions would focus on finding solutions and setting the direction for future work to ensure that the 2026 annual health plan is implemented effectively and with high quality. The Provincial Director urged leaders of departments, district operational teams, referral hospitals, and all program managers to continue paying close attention to the implementation of their work, regularly monitor results, and strengthen cooperation among all units. He also stressed the importance of timely resolution of challenges to enhance the quality, efficiency, and equity of healthcare services provided to the people throughout Takeo Province. Director Phan Van added that the meeting also focused on identifying work priorities and implementation measures for the following month, promoting a spirit of responsibility, cooperation, and results-based work.
