Hanoi Aims to Kick Off 114 Social Housing Projects by Late 2026

The Municipal People's Committee has set a target to simultaneously commence 114 social housing projects within the latter six months of 2026. This system is designed to enable the swift approval and execution of projects, thereby responding promptly and effectively to the housing demands of numerous citizens facing shortages. The development of social housing is expected not only to improve the living conditions of residents but also to make a significant contribution to Hanoi's economic growth by revitalizing related industries, including the construction sector. The government is also considering expanding the group of beneficiaries who are prioritized for access to social housing, aiming to ensure that more low-income individuals and young people can benefit from these programs.
