In Kampong Cham province, Cambodia, a 35-year-old man has been arrested by police on suspicion of stabbing his biological father to death after being expelled from their home while intoxicated. The incident of murder occurred at approximately 7:35 PM on September 11, in Svay Reaks village, Sorsen commune, Prey Chor district, Kampong Cham province. According to police authorities, the suspect, identified as Lim Laen, male, 35 years old, residing in the aforementioned area, has a history of regular alcohol consumption. He is suspected of using a sharp knife to stab his biological father, identified as Pich Lon, male, 70 years old. The stabbing resulted in the victim sustaining severe injuries to his left neck area, leading to his immediate death inside the house. Police stated that the initial motive is presumed to be a family dispute, stemming from the suspect's intoxication and anger towards his father for expelling him from the home.
