Hanoi National University of Education Confers Degrees on Over 3,200 New Graduates

On June 30, Hanoi National University of Education organized a commencement ceremony and awarded bachelor's degrees to over 3,200 students from its 72nd cohort. Among them, nearly 700 students graduated with excellent academic performance. This graduation marks a significant milestone, recognizing the academic and training efforts of the new graduates under the roof of Hanoi National University of Education, while opening a new chapter filled with opportunities and aspirations for contribution. According to the decision of the Rector of Hanoi National University of Education, in 2026, the university recognized the graduation and awarded degrees to 3,241 students in the full-time regular university system, including 588 students from the first batch and 2,653 students from the second batch. Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duc Son, Rector of Hanoi National University of Education, stated that the university wished to convey two messages to the new graduates on their graduation day: congratulations and thanks. Rector Nguyen Duc Son emphasized that the new graduates today are truly deserving of congratulations. The results they have achieved are the fruits of their labor, effort, will, and intellect throughout their studies, not just the four years at Hanoi National University of Education, but their entire academic journey from high school to university. Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duc Son also extended congratulations to the parents, who have raised intelligent and talented children ready to embark on their lives, and congratulated the teachers, staff, and lecturers of the university for having wonderful students and contributing to the overall success of Hanoi National University of Education. Expressing gratitude to the new graduates for choosing to be a part of the university, the Rector expressed confidence that they will continue to spread the values of Hanoi National University of Education in the future and urged them: "Go and fulfill your dreams." Representing the new graduates, Phung Nguyen Ngoc Anh, a student from the high-quality class of the 72nd cohort, who graduated with excellent honors in Mathematics Education from the Faculty of Mathematics-Informatics, Hanoi National University of Education, expressed her honor and emotion at having the opportunity to speak at the ceremony. Looking back at the four years of study at Hanoi National University of Education, Ngoc Anh shared that from being young students who had just turned 18 and were full of uncertainties, the students today are filled with pride for what they have achieved through their efforts and with deep gratitude towards their alma mater. Sharing about choosing the teaching profession, Ngoc Anh said that at times she stood before many different career choices. There were paths that promised better material conditions in a shorter time. But after all, she realized that imparting knowledge, standing on the podium, inspiring learning, and accompanying generations of students is an extremely sacred and valuable job. Ms. Phung Nguyen Ngoc Anh, a student from the high-quality class of the 72nd cohort, who graduated with excellent honors in Mathematics Education, speaking on behalf of the new graduates.
