Vietnam's Southern Region Builds Giant Buddha Statue to Attract Tourists

An 81-meter-tall Buddha statue is under construction on Sam Mountain in An Giang Province, southern Vietnam. Part of a cultural park project costing over VND1 trillion, it is expected to become the world's tallest rock-carved Buddha statue upon completion, boosting regional economy and tourism.
