CNN Indonesia Video Specialist Yusup Saepudin Passes Away, Colleagues Mourn Sudden Death at Workplace

CNN Indonesia is in mourning following the passing of Yusup Saepudin, a Video Specialist, on Tuesday night (4/8). Yusup, affectionately known as 'Yusup Memen,' served as a Video Specialist in the Digital Admin department at CNN Indonesia. Yusup passed away after experiencing an emergency condition while participating in recreational activities with colleagues at CNN Indonesia. He collapsed and lost consciousness during the game. Before being transported to his hometown in Cianjur, West Java, Yusup's body received final respects at the Transmedia office. "The deceased was a very polite person, not one to talk much or complain. But what I heard was that besides his work dedication, he was also very fond of sports," said CNN Indonesia Editor-in-Chief Titin Rosmasari during a joint prayer event for the late Yusup at the CNN Indonesia office in Jakarta on Wednesday (5/8). Yusup Saepudin was born in Cianjur on December 10, 1984. He began his career at Transmedia in 2012 as a Video Specialist for Detik TV. Three years later, he joined CNN Indonesia and became part of the digital team. Throughout his more than 10 years at CNN Indonesia, Yusup Memen was known as a reliable figure. He was also a cooperative team member with high initiative and a strong work ethic. "Working together for 14 years, he never spoke ill of others. He could be partnered with anyone. To me, he was one of the most creative," said CNN Indonesia Production Manager Desi Ardiana. CNN Indonesia Coverage Coordinator Fauzan Mukrim knew Yusup as someone who brought positive energy and never appeared sad. "His emotions were always positive. He never looked sad," said Fauzan.
