Ca Mau Province Focuses on Increasing Both Quantity and Quality of Party Members

Ca Mau Province in southern Vietnam is strengthening its efforts to enhance both the number and quality of Party members. On July 30, the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee convened a specialized conference on Party member development. Discussions focused on identifying challenges in Party member development and devising solutions. This initiative aligns with the Communist Party of Vietnam's long-term goal of "Party building and purification," aiming to reinforce the foundation for maintaining and promoting social stability and development under the one-party system. Enhancing quality, in particular, seeks to increase the ideological and political maturity of Party members and elevate the moral standards of society through their exemplary conduct. Ca Mau Province is also focusing on resolving land clearance issues that hinder economic development and managing the progress of key projects, believing that strengthening Party organizations will contribute to achieving these goals. The aim is for Party members to exercise leadership in their communities, serve as role models, gain residents' trust, and accelerate regional development. In Vietnam, increasing the number and improving the quality of Party members are consistently identified as crucial tasks for maintaining social stability and enhancing the government's policy implementation capacity amidst the country's ongoing economic growth. The role of Party organizations in rural areas is particularly significant, with Party members expected to play a central role in improving residents' livelihoods and advancing development projects.
