Senate President Hun Sen Meets with Electoral College Representatives in Stung Treng

On the morning of Thursday, the 10th waning day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Horse, the eighth year of the Buddhist Era 2570, corresponding to July 9, 2026, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, met with local authorities and representatives of the electoral college for the Senate (Constituency 8) in Stung Treng province. A total of 606 people participated in the meeting. The main objective of this meeting was to strengthen accountability between the Senate and the electoral college, ensure transparency, and further enhance work efficiency at the local level. This marks the 19th occasion that Samdech Techo Hun Sen has visited local authorities since April 25, 2026. To date, Samdech Techo has visited 19 capitals and provinces, including Kampong Cham, Tbong Khmum, Kandal, Phnom Penh, Kampong Speu, Takeo, Kampot, Kep, Svay Rieng, Prey Veng, Kampong Chhnang, Pursat, Kampong Thom, Siem Reap, Oddar Meanchey, Banteay Meanchey, Battambang, Pailin, Kratié, Mondulkiri, Ratanakiri, and Stung Treng.
