Cambodia Announces Graduate Scholarship Program for Study in Japan, Korea, India, Indonesia, or Malaysia

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of Cambodia, in cooperation with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) under the Secondary Education for Human Capital Competition (SE4HC) project, has announced the selection of candidates for postgraduate scholarships. The program aims to provide opportunities for two individuals, including senior instructors and education staff at the National Institute of Education or management personnel, to pursue master's degrees at universities in Japan, Korea, India, Indonesia, or Malaysia for the year 2027. Applicants must be Cambodian nationals, under 45 years of age as of January 1, 2027, hold a bachelor's degree (with a preference for degrees in education or special education), be in good health, and be able to complete their studies within the designated period. A minimum of five years of work experience in special or inclusive education is required, and candidates must be currently employed at the National Institute of Education. Female candidates are particularly encouraged to apply. Upon completion of their studies, scholarship recipients are required to serve at the National Institute of Education for at least five years.
